COMPOSITION: Each 1 mg contains: Trimethoprim 40 mg Sulphadiazine- Na 200 mg.
PROPERTIES:
Trimethoprim magnifies the effect of Sulphadiazine by blocking transformation of folic acid into bio-active folic acid antagonist.on the other hand Sulphadiazine avoids proliferation of bacteria by suppression of the p-aminobenzoic acid. Provatrim has a wide effect against gram negative and gram positive bacteria ,and for different diseases in poultry and larg4e animals.
USES:
POULTRY: Salmonella ,respiratory system. (CRD).
CALVES AND LAMB:
cases which caused by gram negative and gram positive bacteria such as ( ENTERITIS< E> coli.Salmonella).
DOSAGE POULTRY: 1 gm per 2 litters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
CALVES AND LAMB: 1-2 gm / KG body weight for 3- 5 days.
CONTRRA-Indication: Do not use in case of introlerance to Sulphonamides,sever hepatic,or renal dysfunction,not used with flumequine.
WARNNING: don’t use in layers ,when eggs are delivered to human consumption.
WITHDRAWAL TIME: Treatment should be stopped at Least 12 days before birds or animals slaughtering.
STORAGE: In a dry, cool, and dark place between 15 - 25 C.
